Did Litas my way…
I recently fell in love with this AA crewneck, then around the same time I got really extreme about my Peter Pan tendencies, decided I was 10 again and preceded to re-watch all of Hey Arnold! I basically walked around for a few weeks in crewnecks and plaids. No regrets. It was basically pajamas, but super incognito pajamas…
Acne plaid, American Apparel crew neck sweatshirt, Joes knit pants, Doc Martens
I’m the authority on layering. My tiny little ass can’t bear being cold and I’ve become somewhat of a hidden layer gypsy, keeping myself at a toasty 80 degrees at all times. For my birthday I told my Mum I wanted a sweater that was pretty much a glorified blanket. This is the sweater-blanket.
Line sweater, J brand skinnies, Trouvé boots and Vince t shirt.
I’ve been so busy lately that I have no time for outfit posts. These past few days I’ve been in Seattle for a booking and stayed a few extra days to catch up with Lollie and my fam. This was my errand outfit. I love this jean jacket because the sleeves are made out of this chunky sweater so it keeps me real warm in the shitball NYC weather.
Twenty8Twelve jacket, James Perse v-neck, UO hat, Joes Jeans knit pants, Nikes.

Trouve’ leather shorts, Thoery blouse, Dolce Vita Wedges and Ray Ban aviators.
I’ve been saying to my best friend Allie that I wanted a shirt that looked like I just slept with a high power business man and then stole one of his shirts. This is that shirt, I like to think of it as “walk of shame chic”.
I get a lot of comments from friends about my extensive wardrobe and if I spend all my money on my clothes. The truth is I barely spend a tiny fraction of ONE paycheck on my clothing, I am a very frugal person and have been saving every penny to buy my dream house. Yes I have a huge collection of clothes, yes they are quality and yes most of them are all designer. This is how I do it;
1. Nordstrom Rack. I love Nordy’s as much as the next girl and yes sometimes I can’t wait until after season and I buy something full line. But the majority of the time I hit up Nordstrom Rack almost weekly to peruse their racks of discounted clothing. Check their site to find out when they clear things out and when new shippings come in. My favorite finds? Robert Rodriguez sequin shift dress for $50 marked down from $650, Marc Jacobs knit pants bought for $35 regularly $300 and my new Theory blouse for $35 originally $270
2. Splurge on quality things that you’ll keep forever. I have had my black Tory Burch flats for 3 years, my Frye boot collection since I was in the 8th grade and I’ve had my Louis Speedy for years..and god knows that is NEVER going to get old.
3. Shop limited edition designer lines for department stores like Missoni for Target and Lanvin for H&M. While these lines can be few and far between they can give you edgy, expensive looks for less.
4. Never ever throw anything away. I can’t stress this enough, everything comes back in style every once in a while. Right now they 70’s are back and thank god my Mom kept some of her clothes because I pillaged her closet for her flowy dresses and poets blouses. A few years ago those awful neon colored skinny jeans were in, now the trend is back in again and goddamnit I am kicking myself for donating my pink skinnies to goodwill.
5. Don’t spend a lot of money on fads, those pink pants? Buy them from Forever21 and no one will be the wiser, then when they go out of style in 5 min you won’t be out $200.
6. Never be afraid to thrift, this one is a little hard for me to do, just because I am a germ freak and have a hard time rummaging through Value Village but I do love a little cornerside vintage shop. Fun little unique pieces can add a lot to an outfit!
